Noida, February 19, 2026:  The 38th Annual Noida Flower Show 2026 was inaugurated on Thursday at Sector-33A near Shilp Haat, Shivalik Park, in the presence of distinguished guests and a large gathering of visitors. The four-day floral exhibition, organized by the Noida Authority, opened with a ceremonial lamp lighting accompanied by a presentation from the 39th Battalion ITBP Band team.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by Member of Parliament Dr. Mahesh Sharma, along with senior officials of the Noida Authority, including Additional Chief Executive Officer Vandana Tripathi, senior administrative officers, and representatives from various institutions. Their presence marked the formal commencement of one of the city’s most awaited annual horticulture events.

The flower show has been organized with the support of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds contributed by various institutions, banks, and the Residential Welfare Association of Sector-44. This year’s exhibition features large-scale floral murals and sculptures crafted from diverse flower species, forming the central attractions of the event.

Among the key highlights is a 30 to 40-foot floral model of the world-famous Kedarnath Temple of Uttarakhand. The grand installation, prepared entirely from flowers, has become the focal point for visitors and photography enthusiasts. Complementing the theme, a 22-foot-long and 25-foot-high entrance arch inspired by Kedarnath has been erected at the main gate.

Additional themed installations include replicas of a trident, damru, and Nandi placed in front of the temple model. Decorative floral structures such as a six-foot elephant, pathway baskets, pot-flower baskets, and cone-shaped basket towers have been meticulously designed to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the venue. Floral replicas of artistic objects including a matka flow, Buddha lotus, piano setup, hen and rooster, watering can, and other creative installations further enrich the exhibition landscape.

On the first day alone, nearly one lakh visitors thronged the venue to witness 29 varieties of flower species and the intricately designed floral murals. The overwhelming public response indicates the popularity of the flower show, which residents eagerly anticipate every year. For the past 37 years, the Noida Authority’s Horticulture Department, in coordination with the Floriculture Society, has successfully organized this annual event.

Several prominent institutions and organizations have participated by setting up themed spot gardens. Participants include Northern Railways, New Delhi Municipal Council, South Delhi Municipal Corporation, the Indian Army’s Kota House, Bharat Petroleum, LG, Adobe Systems, NIIT, Delhi Public School, Yamuna Expressway Authority, and Greater Noida Authority. These gardens are being evaluated by senior and retired officials, and awards will be distributed based on merit.

Cultural performances have added vibrancy to the exhibition. Children from Tyagaraja Institution presented classical, semi-classical, and folk dance performances, infusing the event with positive energy and artistic expression. Over 90 stalls have been installed to welcome gardening enthusiasts, including 38 nurseries, some of which have sourced plants from Kalimpong and Bhimtal. Visitors can purchase seeds, fertilizers, nursery products, gardening tools, decorative items, pesticides, and flower pots at the venue.

To ensure security and smooth management, surveillance cameras have been installed across the exhibition area to prevent any untoward incidents and ensure visitor safety.

The upcoming schedule includes a Kathak dance drama performance on February 20 by noted artist Anu Sinha, featuring presentations such as Shiv Vivah. On February 21, the Delhi-NCR-based Sarvatra Band will perform, alongside various musicians, and awards will be distributed to participants of the spot garden competition. Further dance performances by students will also take place.

On the concluding day, February 22, a painting competition for school children will be organized, followed by prize distribution. The closing ceremony will feature a grand Kavi Sammelan with noted poets presenting works across genres including Shringar, Veer, and Hasya-Vyangya, offering visitors an evening of literary and cultural delight.

The 38th Noida Flower Show 2026 stands as a celebration of horticulture, art, and community participation, reinforcing the city’s commitment to environmental awareness and cultural enrichment.
