The tragic accident in Noida has left the city in shock and raised serious questions. Young engineer Yuvraj lost his life when his car fell into a water-filled basement by the roadside. Considering the gravity of the case, the Uttar Pradesh government has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT). Father’s Statement
Speaking to the media, Yuvraj’s father said he could not understand why administrative officials were not present at the site immediately after such a serious incident. He added that timely assistance might have saved his son’s life. He also expressed hope that the SIT would uncover the complete truth and ensure strict action against those responsible.
Officials’ Stance
The SIT has summoned senior officials from Noida and Meerut for the investigation. The team includes the Additional Director General of Police, Meerut Zone, the Divisional Commissioner of Meerut, and the Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department (PWD). Administrative Action
Following the incident, the CEO of the Noida Authority was immediately removed. The government has made it clear that no negligence will be tolerated, and strict action will be taken against responsible officials.
