In a move aimed at strengthening facilities for the homeless in Greater Noida, a new night shelter was inaugurated at Pari Chowk under Division-4 by the Greater Noida Administration and Authority. The inauguration was conducted by BJP District President Abhishek Sharma.
The night shelter has been established to provide safe and secure accommodation to homeless and vulnerable individuals, particularly during extreme weather conditions. It is equipped with essential amenities including clean bedding, blankets, drinking water, proper sanitation, lighting, and security arrangements to ensure residents have access to dignified and comfortable shelter.
Officials from the Greater Noida Administration and the Authority highlighted that the initiative forms part of the ongoing efforts to expand support infrastructure for homeless individuals in the city. The shelter at Pari Chowk Division-4 is expected to serve as a critical resource during the winter months, offering protection against cold waves and other harsh weather conditions.
During the inauguration, Abhishek Sharma emphasized the importance of community and administrative collaboration in ensuring the well-being of underprivileged citizens. He lauded the efforts of the Greater Noida Administration in prioritizing the needs of the homeless population and highlighted the government’s commitment to creating safe, accessible, and well-maintained shelters across the district.
