Gautam Buddh Nagar, March 14, 2026:
The direct recruitment examination for the posts of Sub-Inspector (Civil Police) and equivalent positions is being conducted smoothly and peacefully across Gautam Buddh Nagar district. The district administration has made comprehensive arrangements to ensure that the examination is conducted in a fair, transparent, and secure manner.
The recruitment examination is being held on March 14 and March 15, 2026, at a total of 18 examination centres across the district. The exam is being conducted in two shifts each day, with administrative and police officials closely monitoring the process to maintain discipline and transparency throughout the examination.
To review the arrangements, the District Magistrate conducted an on-site inspection at Shri Amichand Inter College in Kasna, Greater Noida, which has been designated as one of the examination centres. During the inspection, the District Magistrate carefully reviewed the security arrangements, candidate entry procedures, seating arrangements, and the availability of basic facilities such as drinking water and sanitation.

Officials stated that the inspection was carried out to ensure that all arrangements at the examination centre were in accordance with the prescribed guidelines. The District Magistrate also interacted with officials deployed at the centre and issued necessary instructions to ensure that the examination process proceeds smoothly without any inconvenience to candidates.
The District Magistrate emphasized that maintaining transparency and integrity during the examination is the top priority of the district administration. He clearly instructed officials to remain vigilant and ensure that the examination is conducted strictly according to the rules and regulations.
He further stated that any form of negligence, indiscipline, or irregularity during the examination process will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Administrative and police officers have been deployed at all centres to maintain strict supervision and ensure a fair examination environment.

Officials reported that the examination on the first day was conducted peacefully and in an orderly manner at all 18 centres across the district. Continuous monitoring is being carried out by administrative and police authorities to prevent any irregularities and to maintain the sanctity of the recruitment examination.
District Inspector of Schools Rajesh Kumar Singh provided details regarding the attendance of candidates on the first day of the examination. According to the data shared, a total of 5,520 candidates were registered for the first shift of the examination. Out of these, 3,691 candidates appeared for the exam while 1,829 candidates remained absent.
In the second shift, out of the same total of 5,520 registered candidates, 3,870 candidates appeared for the examination while 1,650 candidates were absent.
Officials confirmed that the recruitment examination will continue on March 15, 2026, at all 18 designated examination centres in the district. The exam will again be conducted in two shifts with strict security and administrative supervision.
The district administration reiterated its commitment to conducting the recruitment examination in a fair and transparent manner. Authorities stated that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure that candidates can appear for the examination in a secure and well-organized environment.
Officials also highlighted that coordinated efforts between administrative departments, education authorities, and the police department are playing an important role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the recruitment process in the district.
