Gautam Buddh Nagar, February , 2026 – Under the supervision of the District Legal Services Authority, Gautam Buddh Nagar, the awareness vehicle received from the headquarters in Lucknow was flagged off today by the District Judge Atul Srivastava at the district court premises. All concerned judges of the district were present during the event. Through the vehicle, extensive publicity will be carried out regarding the Mega Literacy and Service Camp on February 22, 2026, at Shilp Haat, Sector 33A, Noida, and the National Lok Adalat on March 14, 2026.
The vehicle is equipped with attractive banners, detailed information materials, and a public announcement system to educate citizens in simple and clear language about legal services, features of the Lok Adalat, and the right to free legal aid. This will increase awareness among the public about their rights and available services.
The Mega Literacy and Service Camp will provide information, guidance, and necessary services related to welfare schemes run by various departments at a single location. The National Lok Adalat on March 14, 2026, will facilitate quick, accessible, and mutually agreed resolution of pending and compromiseable cases, enabling parties to obtain justice in less time and at lower costs.
The District Judge emphasized that legal services are a constitutional right of every citizen, and Lok Adalats provide a simple, quick, and effective means of accessing justice. Citizens were urged to take maximum advantage of these programs.
He further stated that the awareness vehicle campaign will reach both urban and rural areas of the district, enabling a larger number of citizens to gain information about legal services and government welfare schemes and benefit from them.
