Haridwar, 28 August : RSS chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat said that unity in diversity is a part of our tradition. Human beings should develop their small consciousness so that they can understand and adopt unity in diversity. He said that the upliftment of India is beneficial not only for India but also for the whole world. This is the divine culture.
RSS chief , Dr. Bhagwat, was addressing the gathering on the second day of the two-day Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Lecture Series organised on the theme of G-20 at Devsanskrit University here. He said that India is a worshipper of Tej. The Gayatri family also worships Surya, i.e., these Tejas. Every human being walking on this journey is a seeker working to save the world. He said that there should be peace in the whole world and that everyone should work together in this direction. In ancient times, sages used to train people through small training centres so that they lived in harmony with all their associates and all lived like a family.
Vice-Chancellor of Devsanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Dr. Chinmay Pandya, said that this time has brought immense possibilities. He said that change is certain—soldiers wake up, be careful—and only then can India be made a developed nation. He said that kindness, sacrifice, and spiritual progress were developed only in India. Those streams of knowledge exist in India and will illuminate the whole world. Before concluding the lecture, Vice Chancellor Sharad Pardhi proposed a vote of thanks.
On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Chinmay Pandya honoured Sarsanghchalak Dr. Bhagwat by presenting Yugasahitya, Rudrakshmala, Gangajali, etc. Sarsanghchalak Dr. Bhagwat released several magazines, including the Yajan mobile app. Earlier, Sarsanghchalak anointed Pragyeshwar Mahadev at the university and prayed for the progress of the entire society. Along with this, he conveyed the message of environmental protection by planting a white sandalwood plant.
After this, he reached Gayatri Tirtha Shantikunj. Here he met Dr. Pranav Pandya and Shail Didi, head of All World Gayatri Parivar, and consulted.
In the meeting organised at the Mrityujaya Auditorium of Devsanskrit University, students presented a spectacular cultural programme on various aspects based on the theme of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
