Gautam Buddha Nagar, 16 December 2025:
In a bid to address the concerns and issues faced by farmers in the district, the office of the Deputy Agriculture Director of Gautam Buddha Nagar has announced the organisation of Kisan Diwas on Wednesday, 17 December 2025. The event will be held at the auditorium of Vikas Bhawan at 11:00 AM under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate.
Deputy Agriculture Director Rajeev Kumar informed that the programme aims to provide a platform for farmers to raise their issues directly and receive timely solutions from concerned authorities. Farmers across the district have been encouraged to participate and present their problems for resolution.
He also directed all relevant officials to ensure their presence at the designated date, time, and venue, and to actively engage in resolving the matters brought forth by the farmers during the Kisan Diwas. The initiative reflects the district administration’s commitment to addressing agricultural challenges and facilitating direct communication between farmers and government officials.
This initiative is expected to strengthen the government’s outreach to the agricultural community and promote transparency and accountability in addressing their concerns. The district administration has urged farmers to make the most of this opportunity to have their issues heard and resolved.
The event is being coordinated by the District Agriculture Department in collaboration with the Information Department of Gautam Buddha Nagar, ensuring wide awareness and participation among farmers.
Kisan Diwas, held monthly on the third Wednesday, continues to serve as an important platform for bridging the gap between farmers and administrative authorities, fostering responsive governance and effective problem-solving in the agriculture sector.
The district administration has assured that all measures will be taken to provide an organized and solution-oriented environment for the farmers during the event. Officials emphasized the importance of attending in person to ensure the proper redressal of issues and meaningful dialogue with the authorities.
This proactive approach is part of Gautam Buddha Nagar’s ongoing efforts to support farmers, improve agricultural productivity, and address the challenges faced by the farming community at the grassroots level.
