Noida, December 14, 2025:
Ahead of the nationally organised “Vote Chor–Gaddi Chhodo” rally, Congress workers from Gautam Buddh Nagar district gathered in large numbers at Noida Sector 14A, near the Gautam Buddh Gate, and marched towards Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan on Sunday. The mobilisation was led by District Congress Committee President Deepak Bhati Chotiwala, who guided party workers to participate in what the Congress has described as a decisive movement to protect democracy and the Constitution.

According to party leaders, nearly one thousand Congress workers from Gautam Buddh Nagar district took part in the rally. The workers travelled to Delhi in a large convoy consisting of hundreds of vehicles and buses, reflecting strong organisational mobilisation at the district level. The contingent joined the national-level rally at Ramlila Maidan, which was convened to raise concerns over alleged vote theft and to challenge the policies of the central government.

Before departing for Delhi, Congress workers assembled at the Noida gate, where Deepak Bhati Chotiwala addressed the gathering. In his address, he described the ongoing political struggle as equivalent to a “second freedom movement” for the country. He said that Congress workers were participating in the rally with a firm resolve, asserting that the Constitution remains the greatest source of strength for the people of India.

Deepak Bhati Chotiwala said that Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are fully committed to protecting the Constitution and democratic values and are prepared to make every sacrifice necessary for this cause. He stated that through the rally at Ramlila Maidan, the country would demand answers from the government on the issue of alleged vote theft. He further said that the rally was dedicated to safeguarding the rights and interests of every Indian citizen who, according to the Congress, is facing exploitation due to the anti-people policies of the central government.

Emphasising party unity and commitment, Deepak Bhati Chotiwala said that every soldier of the Gautam Buddh Nagar District Congress stands firmly with the party leadership. He asserted that Congress workers are ready to fight alongside their leaders for the survival of the party, the nation, and its ideological principles. He added that the participation of a large number of workers from the district demonstrated the strength of the organisation and the determination of its cadre at the grassroots level.

The Gautam Buddh Nagar delegation included a wide range of party leaders, office bearers, and workers from different areas of the district. Prominent among those who participated in the rally were Gautam Awana, Mukesh Sharma, Subedar Satpal Singh, Maharaj Singh Nagar, Dharam Singh, Nisha Sharma, Rizwan Chaudhary, Neeraj Lohiya, Ganesh Meena, Raju Rao, Teerathram, Sandeep Nagar, Raghuraj Sharma, Gautam Singh, Radha Rani, Kapil Bhati, R.K. Party leaders said that the large turnout from Gautam Buddh Nagar underlined the growing participation of district-level units in national political programmes. Workers expressed enthusiasm and confidence as they headed towards Delhi, stating that such rallies strengthen morale and reinforce commitment to democratic values.

The Congress leadership maintained that the “Vote Chor–Gaddi Chhodo” rally is part of a broader nationwide movement aimed at holding the government accountable and defending constitutional rights.
