The District Magistrate, in the capacity of District Election Officer, carried out a routine monthly inspection of the EVM/VVPAT warehouse located within the Collectorate premises in Gautam Buddh Nagar. The inspection was conducted to review security arrangements, operational readiness, and maintenance standards at the facility.
During the visit, the officer undertook a detailed assessment of multiple aspects of the warehouse, including security systems, cleanliness, and overall infrastructure management. Special emphasis was placed on ensuring that the storage conditions of electronic voting equipment remain secure, compliant, and tamper-proof.
As part of the inspection, the locks and seals installed at the main entrance of the warehouse were thoroughly checked. Officials confirmed that both were found intact and secure, indicating that no unauthorized access had occurred. The inspection also included verification of the integrity of the sealing process, which is a critical component in maintaining the credibility and safety of stored election equipment.

The District Election Officer further reviewed the functioning of the CCTV surveillance system installed within and around the warehouse premises.
