Gautam Budh Nagar, December 20, 2025:
In an effort to ensure prompt resolution of public grievances, the district administration of Gautam Budh Nagar organised Sampoorn Samadhan Diwas across all three tehsils—Dadri, Sadar and Jewar—on Saturday. The district-wide exercise witnessed active participation from administrative and departmental officials, with a total of 125 complaints registered, out of which nine were resolved on the spot.
Officials said that remaining complaints were forwarded to the concerned departments with clear instructions to ensure time-bound and quality-based disposal. The initiative is part of the administration’s ongoing focus on strengthening grievance redressal mechanisms and improving public service delivery at the grassroots level.
The largest number of complaints was recorded in Dadri tehsil, where Chief Development Officer of Gautam Budh Nagar, Dr Shivakant Dwivedi, presided over the proceedings. During the hearing, 88 complaints were received from members of the public, covering issues related to various departments. Of these, six complaints were resolved immediately at the venue. The session was attended by Deputy Collector Charul Yadav, along with officials from the Health Department, Agriculture Department, Police Department and other concerned departments, who were present to address grievances and provide clarifications.
In Jewar tehsil, the Sampoorn Samadhan Diwas was held under the chairmanship of Additional District Magistrate (Land Acquisition) Bachchu Singh. A total of 32 complaints were registered during the programme, reflecting a wide range of civic and administrative concerns. Officials were able to resolve one complaint on the spot, while directions were issued for prompt follow-up on the remaining cases to ensure timely redressal.
Similarly, Sadar tehsil hosted the grievance redressal programme under the leadership of Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Manglesh Dubey. Here, five complaints were received from the public, out of which two were disposed of immediately during the proceedings. The remaining complaints were forwarded to the respective departments with clear timelines for action.
District officials reiterated that Sampoorn Samadhan Diwas plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the administration and citizens by providing a direct platform for grievance resolution. They emphasised that officers have been instructed to treat complaints with seriousness and ensure that issues raised by citizens are addressed efficiently, transparently and within the stipulated timeframe.
The administration also stressed that regular monitoring of pending complaints will be carried out to prevent delays and ensure accountability at all levels. Citizens were encouraged to continue using such platforms to bring their issues to the notice of authorities.
The programme was conducted under the overall supervision of the district administration, with support from all line departments. According to officials, such coordinated efforts are aimed at strengthening public trust and improving governance outcomes across Gautam Budh Nagar district.
