Gautam Buddh Nagar | March 14, 2026 — Additional Chief Secretary (Industrial Development) and Chairman of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), Alok Kumar, reviewed the progress of various industrial parks during a meeting held at the Administration Building located in the Medical Device Park on Saturday. He also conducted a site inspection to assess the development work and infrastructure being created for upcoming industrial projects.
During the meeting, Additional Chief Executive Officer Shailendra Kumar Bhatia presented a detailed overview of the ongoing development work in different industrial parks under the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority. Through a presentation, officials briefed the Additional Chief Secretary about the status and progress of several key industrial projects.

The presentation covered the development and progress of multiple industrial parks, including the Medical Device Park, Apparel Park, MSME Park, Handicraft Park, Toy Park, Semiconductor Park, Data Center Park, Electronic Manufacturing Cluster, and other general industry sectors being developed in the region.
Officials informed that these industrial parks are being developed with the objective of promoting industrial growth, attracting investment, and creating employment opportunities in the region. The projects are expected to strengthen the industrial ecosystem and boost economic development in Gautam Buddh Nagar and surrounding areas.
Following the review meeting, Alok Kumar conducted a site inspection of the industrial parks and various sectors being developed under YEIDA. During the inspection, he examined the progress of infrastructure development and reviewed the status of facilities being created for upcoming industrial units.
He directed officials to accelerate the establishment of industrial units in the industrial parks and ensure that all development works are completed within the prescribed timeline. He emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum in industrial development projects so that the planned parks can begin operations at the earliest.

Officials were also instructed to address any challenges or bottlenecks that may delay the development process and to ensure better coordination among different departments involved in the projects.
The review meeting and inspection were attended by several senior officials of the authority, including Additional Chief Executive Officer Rajesh Kumar, Officer on Special Duty Shailendra Kumar Singh, OSD Mehram Singh, and General Manager (Projects) Rajendra Bhati.
Officials from the Project Department, Planning Department, and Electricity Department also participated in the meeting and provided updates regarding their respective areas of work.
The visit and review by the Additional Chief Secretary are part of ongoing efforts by the state government and YEIDA to strengthen industrial infrastructure and attract large-scale investments in the region. The development of specialized industrial parks such as Medical Device Park, Semiconductor Park, and Electronic Manufacturing Cluster is expected to play a significant role in promoting manufacturing and technological innovation in Uttar Pradesh.
