The National Lok Adalat will be organized in Gautam Buddh Nagar district on March 14, 2026. The Lok Adalat will be conducted at the district headquarters civil court as well as at all tehsil courts, where various types of disputes will be resolved through mutual settlement.

Cases that will be taken up during the Lok Adalat include civil disputes, matrimonial and family matters, mutation and land lease cases, labour related issues, and compoundable criminal cases.
In addition, bank loan disputes, revenue matters, forest land related cases, land acquisition disputes, and claims related to motor vehicle accident compensation will also be considered for settlement during the Lok Adalat.
To ensure maximum disposal of cases during the event, a review meeting was held with district-level officials. The meeting was chaired by Additional District Judge and Special Judge SC ST Act as well as Nodal Officer for National Lok Adalat Somprabha Mishra at the court auditorium.
The meeting was organized in accordance with the directions of District Judge and Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority Gautam Buddh Nagar Atul Srivastava. The purpose of the meeting was to coordinate efforts among different departments and review preparations for the upcoming Lok Adalat.

While addressing the officials, Nodal Officer Somprabha Mishra emphasized that the National Lok Adalat aims to provide simple, accessible, and speedy justice to citizens.
She instructed all departmental officers to identify cases related to their departments in advance and ensure timely preparation so that the maximum number of disputes can be resolved during the Lok Adalat on March 14.
She further directed officials to immediately begin preparations for settlement of pending cases under their respective departments.
Officers from the police and traffic departments were specifically instructed to identify eligible cases for settlement and prepare them for presentation during the Lok Adalat.
Similarly, officials from NPCL, the district lead bank manager’s office, the district supply department, and other concerned departments were directed to ensure comprehensive preparation for the event.
Officials were also asked to conduct extensive awareness campaigns so that more citizens can learn about the benefits of the National Lok Adalat and take advantage of the opportunity to resolve their disputes amicably.
The meeting was attended by Full Time Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority Shivani Tyagi, ADCP Headquarters Poonam Mishra, ACP Traffic Shakeel Mohammad, Chief Accounts Officer Sunil Yadav, Accounts Officer Satish Chauhan, ALDM, NPCL officials, representatives from the district supply department, and other district-level officers.
