Chief Executive Officer of the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA), Dr. Lokesh M, conducted an extensive field inspection across various sectors of the city today. The inspection was aimed at reviewing the condition of roads, drainage systems, cleanliness mechanisms, and checking for any unauthorized encroachments.
During the visit, General Manager (Civil) Mr. A.K. Arora, Additional General Manager (Civil) Mr. Vijay Rayal, along with Senior Managers of Civil Divisions 1, 2, 3, and 6, and officials from the Public Health Department, accompanied the CEO.

Emphasis on Road Repair and Drainage Cleaning
Dr. Lokesh M inspected several key locations including Main Industrial Area Road, MP-1 Road, MP-2 Road, DSC Road, Tunnel Roads No. 6 and 8, and sectors 8, 9, 11, 75, 76, and 77.
He directed officials to immediately repair damaged portions of roads, clean choked drains, and restore broken dividers to ensure smooth vehicular movement.
During the inspection at Sector-1, a drain filled with industrial waste was found, for which the concerned industrial unit was ordered to be issued a notice. Similar directions were given for other identified problem areas to ensure quick corrective measures.
The CEO also noted that several locations lacked proper road curves and connectivity between drains, increasing the risk of accidents. He instructed all engineers to prepare a detailed compliance report within three days.

Strict Action Against Illegal Parking and Encroachments
The CEO expressed concern over illegal parking and encroachments found along industrial and main market roads. He ordered that immediate notices be issued to the defaulters and encroached areas cleared without delay.
Several sites were found littered with construction debris and waste materials, for which the cleanliness department was instructed to ensure prompt removal and maintain hygienic conditions.
Displeasure Over Absence of Sanitation Workers
Dr. Lokesh expressed serious dissatisfaction after no sanitation workers were found present during the inspection. He warned that negligence in maintaining cleanliness will not be tolerated, and strict action will be taken against the responsible supervisors.
Timely Compliance and Accountability
The CEO instructed that all identified deficiencies — including road repair, drain cleaning, signage installation, and lighting maintenance — be completed within three days, with a photographic progress report submitted to the Authority.
He reiterated that maintaining Noida’s image as a clean, modern, and citizen-friendly city is the collective responsibility of all concerned departments.
