A high-level meeting was convened at the Collectorate office under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate to review and finalize the process of compensation distribution for farmers affected by the Stage-2/Phase-2 and Stage-2/Phase-3 expansion of Noida International Airport, Jewar. Officials from the Revenue Department, Finance Department, and other concerned authorities participated in the meeting and discussed measures to ensure that the compensation process is carried out in a transparent, efficient, and time-bound manner. The District Magistrate emphasized that all eligible farmers must receive their due compensation without delays and that the entire process should maintain accountability and clarity at every stage.
The compensation process covers a total of 1,838.4176 hectares of land across 14 villages in Jewar Tehsil, where land has either been acquired or is in the process of acquisition. A large number of farmers and landowners are impacted by this expansion. The administration reiterated its commitment to ensuring that affected farmers receive their rightful entitlements promptly and without inconvenience. To streamline the process and make it more accessible, the administration has decided to organize special compensation camps at the village level.

Special Compensation Camps to Begin from 3 April
The District Magistrate directed that special compensation camps will be organized in all affected villages starting from 3 April 2026. At these camps, farmers will submit their compensation claim forms, based on which compensation files will be prepared and further procedural formalities will be completed. To facilitate the process, Revenue Inspectors, Lekhpals, and Amins will be deployed in each village to assist farmers with documentation and ensure smooth handling of applications.
The Tehsildar of Jewar has been appointed as the overall in-charge of these camps. He will coordinate with the Naib Tehsildar to conduct daily inspections of camp activities and ensure that all prepared files are properly verified and signed. Once all formalities are completed, the files will be forwarded to the office of the Additional District Magistrate (Land Acquisition) for further processing and approval. Officials have been instructed to ensure that camp operations are conducted in an organized and efficient manner to avoid any inconvenience to farmers.
Camp Locations Finalized Across 14 Villages
The administration has identified specific locations for organizing compensation camps across all 14 affected villages to ensure accessibility for farmers. In Thora village, the camp will be held at Primary School-1, while in Bankapur it will be at Dr Ambedkar Bhawan. In Neemka Shahjahanpur, the Primary School has been designated as the venue, and in Ahmedpur Chaurouli, the Panchayat Bhawan will host the camp.
Similarly, camps will be organized at Primary Schools in Khwajpur, Ramner, Kishorpur, and Banwaribans villages. In Parohi and Rohi villages, Dr Ambedkar Bhawan has been selected as the venue. In Mukimpur Shivara and Jewar Bangar, Primary Schools will serve as camp locations, while Panchayat Bhawan in Sabota Mustafabad and Sarv Hitkari Inter College in Dayanatpur have also been designated as camp sites. At all these locations, farmers will be able to submit their forms and complete the necessary procedures for compensation.

Focus on Transparency and Timely Disbursement
The District Magistrate appealed to all affected farmers to attend the camps in their respective villages from 3 April onwards and complete all required formalities related to compensation. He stated that the objective of these camps is to ensure a transparent, efficient, and farmer-friendly system for compensation distribution, enabling timely disbursement to all beneficiaries.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Magistrate (Land Acquisition) Bacchu Singh, Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) Atul Kumar, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Jewar Durgesh Singh, and other senior officials from the Revenue Department. The District Magistrate stressed the importance of coordination among departments to ensure smooth implementation of the process and strict adherence to all administrative and legal procedures.
Through these initiatives, the district administration aims to ensure that farmers affected by the airport expansion are fairly compensated while minimizing inconvenience. The approach reflects a balanced effort to support infrastructure development while safeguarding farmers’ rights and interests.
