Gautam Buddh Nagar, February 19, 2026 – On February 19, 2026, BK Sales Corporation formally announced the development of a cutting-edge hyperscale data center in the Yamuna Expressway region. The project marks a significant step toward enhancing digital infrastructure across North India. The ambitious initiative will be led by Caltech alumnus Karan Gupta.
The data center will be established on a prime five-acre land parcel in a sector of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority. The project includes construction of two advanced data center buildings with a planned capacity of approximately 7,000 server racks. This large-scale capacity is designed to support high-density digital operations, cloud services, and the rapidly expanding artificial intelligence segment.
The total investment of around ₹400 crore will be implemented in two phases. The first phase will focus on civil infrastructure, structural development, and installation of essential power and network connectivity systems. The second phase will involve server rack deployment, integration of advanced technological systems, and preparation for full-scale commercial operations. The company aims to commence commercial operations within 18 months from the date of land transfer.
Upon full operationalization, the facility is expected to generate direct employment for approximately 100 qualified professionals. In addition, indirect employment opportunities are anticipated across technical services, maintenance, and support operations. The project is expected to contribute significantly to the regional economy and open new avenues in the technology sector.
A key highlight of the project is its emphasis on renewable energy solutions and advanced energy-efficient technologies. The facility will incorporate best-in-class cooling technologies and energy-efficient power systems to reduce electricity consumption and minimize carbon footprint. These measures align with sustainability goals while ensuring high operational efficiency.
The hyperscale data center will provide advanced digital infrastructure to businesses, government organizations, and digital enterprises, strengthening the region’s data ecosystem. It is strategically designed to cater to the increasing demand for data storage, processing, and management, particularly driven by the growth of artificial intelligence applications and high-density digital workloads.
Its proximity to the Noida International Airport is expected to provide strategic advantages, including reliable power supply and access to a well-developed fiber network. These infrastructural benefits will support uninterrupted operations and high-speed data connectivity.
On February 19, 2026, Chief Executive Officer Rakesh Singh handed over the Letter of Intent for the allocation of five acres of land to BK Sales Corporation for the establishment of the data center. Additional Chief Executive Officer Shailendra Kumar Bhatia was also present during the occasion. The issuance of the Letter of Intent marks a major milestone in the formal commencement of the project.
The project is expected to emerge as a landmark development in positioning North India as a major hub for data and digital innovation, attracting further technological investments in the region.
