The third edition of Bharat Shiksha Expo 2026 was inaugurated with grandeur at India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida, bringing together educators, policymakers, industry leaders, EdTech innovators, counsellors, students, and academic stakeholders from across the country. The three-day event is emerging as a major platform focused on the future of education, skill development, innovation, and technology-driven learning in India.
Organized by India Expo Mart with support from Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority, the expo aims to strengthen India’s evolving education ecosystem through collaboration, innovation, and meaningful academic dialogue. Universities, colleges, international education consultants, skill development organizations, and education solution providers are participating in the event.
Focus On Skill-Based Education And Career Guidance
Several prominent speakers addressed the opening session and highlighted the importance of modern education models. Former IPS officer and advisory board member of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Sports Foundation, Anil Pratham emphasized the growing need for career counselling and skill-based education for today’s youth.
He stated that students must be prepared for emerging career sectors such as forensic science, cyber crime, criminology, and laboratory sciences. According to him, platforms like Bharat Shiksha Expo help students gain clarity about future career opportunities and make informed academic decisions.
National Education Policy And Industry Integration Highlighted
Federation of Education in India Chairman Zahir Khan said education should go beyond awarding degrees and focus on building a skill-driven ecosystem capable of transforming India into a global knowledge leader. He highlighted the vision of the National Education Policy 2020 and stressed the need for inclusive education, applied learning, soft skills, and stronger integration between academics and industry.
National Skill Development Corporation advisor Sandeep Singh Kaura emphasized that skills are essential for real career growth and global opportunities. He remarked that while degrees may open doors, skills ultimately determine success in the professional world.
Interactive Learning And Innovation Attract Visitors
The expo features a wide range of interactive and technology-driven activities, including Hackathons, Workshops, Quiz Competitions, AR/VR experiences, Robotics Sessions, Design Thinking Workshops, Counselling Sessions, and Masterclasses. Organizers say these activities are designed to provide students with hands-on and experiential learning opportunities.
Sudip Sarkar said Bharat Shiksha Expo 2026 has evolved into a comprehensive platform where education, technology, innovation, and career development come together under one roof. He added that the event enables students to directly interact with institutions, experts, and career counsellors.
Expo Gains Importance After CBSE Results
The significance of the expo has increased further following the recent declaration of CBSE examination results. A large number of students and parents are visiting the event to explore higher education opportunities, international study programs, entrepreneurship, innovation, and career pathways.
Special sessions including the Principals Conference under the National Education Policy 2020 and the Vishwaguru Summit organized by the Federation of Education in India are also being held during the event. Discussions are focused on future-ready learning models, digital libraries, accessibility, skill integration, and India’s growing role in the global knowledge economy.
Bharat Shiksha Expo 2026 will continue until May 16 at India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida, and is expected to attract significant participation from the education community over the coming days.
