The Sahitya Welfare Cultural and Sports Federation (Registered), in association with Shabdavali Darpan News, organized a national poetry gathering under the banner of the National Kavi Panchayat to commemorate the birth anniversary of Acharya Radheshyam ‘Pragalbh’ at Kavya Bhawan, Sahitya Sadan, Barola Sector 49, Noida.
Approximately two dozen poets from NCR and across India participated, presenting their poetry to an enthusiastic audience. The event was chaired by Baba Kanpuri, member of the Advisory Committee, Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India. Distinguished guest Poet Anand Krantivardhan, son-in-law of Acharya Radheshyam ‘Pragalbh’, was present along with senior literary figures J.P. Rawat, Krishna Sharma Damini, Kishore Srivastava, and Savindra Kumar.
The event was coordinated by Kiran Singh, Vice President of the Federation, and conducted by Chairperson Pandit Sahitya Chanchal Sadhak, a revolutionary poet. Children aged 6 to 12 from Mala Smriti Home Orphanage delivered an extraordinary performance, leaving the audience amazed. Their mentor, Dr. Devvrat Shekhar Vishwas, was honored for nurturing and guiding the children.
Young poet Vivek Kushwaha was awarded the ‘Shabdavali Gauravshree Award’ for his outstanding literary contributions, receiving a memento, shawl, ceremonial cloth, and garland.
The first session focused on the life and literary works of Acharya Radheshyam ‘Pragalbh’, featuring tributes and recitations of his poetry. The second session featured high-quality poetry readings by participating poets across genres.
The program began with Archana Singh’s Saraswati Vandana. Other participants included Anand Krantivardhan, Dr. Atal Muradabadi, Pandit Prem Barelvi, Kabir Halati, Pankaj Raghav, Kiran Singh, Vinod Sharma, Vivek Kushwaha, Goldie Gazab, Deepika Valdia, Savita Singh Shama, Sangeeta Verma, Dr. Parul Raj, Simple Bhavna, Nivedita Kumar, Krishna Kumar, Satish Dixit, Swati Swarnkar, and Virendra Singh Kaushal.
Several dignitaries, including Amar Parihar (President, Jan Kalyan Manch), Brahmpal Singh (General Secretary), Sanjay Chaudhary (President, Akhil Bharatiya Navayuvak Samiti), and others were present. The event celebrated Acharya Radheshyam ‘Pragalbh’ and showcased the vigor and creativity of young poets, leaving the audience inspired.
