Violent Clash Erupts Over Cattle Dispute
Datia, 13 September: A violent clash broke out between two groups in the Datia district of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday morning over driving away cattle from a field. During this, both sides opened fire, due to which four people died and five others were injured. On receiving information, police reached the spot.
According to the police, the incident took place in the Reda village of the Civil Line police station area. Here, people from the Pal community and the Dangi community clashed over straying animals in the fields. During this period, the dispute escalated so much that both parties opened fire on each other. The injured have been admitted to the hospital.
Escalation Leading to Tragic Confrontation
Gyan Singh Pal, who was injured in the conflict, said that there was a dispute with the Dangi community over driving away of cattle. Then the firing started. I have been shot in the leg. After some time, I became unconscious. After getting the information, Barauni SDOP Vinayak Shukla reached the hospital. He said that the police established a path and sent the bodies for a post-mortem. The police are currently busy investigating the case.
