Greater Noida, December 2025:
In a significant boost to the Government of India’s Make in India initiative and the country’s rapidly expanding electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has issued a Letter of Intent (LOI) to Ninzus Electric for the allotment of a 20,000 square metre industrial plot in Sector 8D. The proposed mega facility is expected to play a key role in strengthening India’s EV infrastructure and renewable energy storage manufacturing capabilities.
Strategically located in Sector 8D along the Yamuna Expressway, the site is positioned near the upcoming Noida International Airport and lies within an emerging EV manufacturing cluster. The new facility will serve as a central hub for Ninzus Electric’s ambitious expansion plans in advanced EV charging technology and solar energy storage solutions.
Under this expansion project, the company will focus on large-scale manufacturing of onboard EV chargers and solar power banks. The initiative aims to bridge a critical gap in India’s domestic supply chain for high-capacity power electronics, which are essential for the growth of electric mobility and clean energy adoption across the country.
The official Letter of Intent was handed over by YEIDA Chief Executive Officer Rakesh Kumar Singh to Ninzus Electric Managing Director Vineet Gupta. The LOI handover ceremony was attended by YEIDA Additional CEO Shailendra Bhatia, along with senior officials from both YEIDA and Ninzus Electric, marking a major milestone for the project.

The allotment of land in Sector 8D is being viewed as a landmark development for Ninzus Electric. Spread over 20,000 square metres, the proposed manufacturing facility will be aligned with India’s green energy policy and sustainability goals. The company plans to develop world-class onboard EV chargers tailored specifically to Indian operating conditions, along with advanced solar power bank systems aimed at enhancing energy self-reliance for consumers and businesses alike.
The facility will focus on innovation-driven manufacturing, with an emphasis on reliability, efficiency, and scalability. By localising the production of critical EV and renewable energy components, the project is expected to reduce dependence on imports and strengthen India’s position in the global clean technology value chain.
Highlighting the strategic importance of the project, officials noted that Sector 8D offers significant logistical and infrastructural advantages. Its proximity to the Noida International Airport provides access to world-class connectivity and logistics infrastructure, making it an ideal location for high-tech manufacturing and export-oriented operations. The area is fast emerging as a preferred destination for EV and clean energy companies seeking integrated industrial ecosystems.
From a product perspective, the new unit will specialise in manufacturing high IP-rated onboard chargers for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and light commercial vehicles (LCVs). In addition, the facility will produce next-generation solar power bank systems designed to support both mobility and stationary energy storage requirements. These products are expected to cater to the growing demand from India’s EV manufacturers as well as the renewable energy sector.
The project is also expected to have a substantial economic and social impact on the region. According to officials, the investment will generate significant employment opportunities at the local level, contributing to skill development and industrial growth in Greater Noida and the Yamuna Expressway region. The presence of such advanced manufacturing facilities is likely to further strengthen Greater Noida’s profile as a global hub for green technology and sustainable manufacturing.
Under the leadership of CEO Rakesh Kumar Singh, YEIDA has been actively working to position the Yamuna Expressway region as a major destination for the electric vehicle industry. The authority has been focusing on creating a conducive environment for EV manufacturers by offering strategic land allotments, robust infrastructure, and policy support aligned with national priorities.
Ninzus Electric is expected to invest approximately ₹169 crore in the development of the Sector 8D facility. The investment will not only accelerate the company’s growth trajectory but also contribute to the broader objective of building a resilient and self-reliant EV manufacturing ecosystem in India.
With the issuance of the Letter of Intent, the project has now moved into its implementation phase, marking another step forward in YEIDA’s efforts to attract high-value, future-ready industries to the region and reinforce India’s transition towards clean mobility and sustainable energy solutions.
