A high-level delegation from the Government of Uttar Pradesh and Government of India successfully visited WHX Dubai (formerly Arab Health) to showcase the Medical Devices Park (MDP) at YEIDA as a global hub for medical device manufacturing and innovation. The visit focused on attracting investments, encouraging international collaborations, and presenting strategic opportunities offered by the park.
The delegation was led by senior officials including the Special Secretary, Industries Department, UP; Additional CEO, YEIDA; Director, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India; and Executive Director, EPCMD-India. Meetings were held with global and Indian companies to discuss investment and expansion opportunities.

Investment and Land Allotments
The delegation conducted one-on-one meetings with key companies for land allotment and lab setup. Disposafe planned to apply for 10 acres via the Nivesh Mitra Portal. Polymedicure will start construction on the already allotted 7-acre plot. Kusum Healthcare expressed interest in setting up an assistive medical devices plant for exports to Ukraine and CIS countries.
Global tech giants also participated in discussions. Wipro GE Healthcare is considering a new plant at MDP, YEIDA. Olympus (Japan), Elekta (Sweden), and Siemens Healthineers discussed setting up manufacturing facilities. Stockholm-based Elekta AB specializes in precision radiation medicine and ranks #2 globally in radiotherapy.

Testing and Infrastructure
Accuprec and TUV SUD (Germany) were invited to establish ASCA-accredited testing labs. Accuprec proposed a ₹250 crore plan for ASCA labs across five years.
Strategic Partnerships and Innovation
Discussions were held with Philips, Fujifilms, and Zimmer Biomet for localization and MedTech innovation. Healthium MedTech and Hindustan Syringes (HMD) were invited for their next expansion phases in the park.
Diplomatic Support and Sovereign Investment
The delegation met India’s Ambassador and Consul General to UAE. They were briefed on the park’s unique features, locational advantages, and 101 companies already allotted land. Diplomatic support was pledged to promote the park and explore sovereign wealth fund investments.
