The 77th Republic Day was celebrated at the Yamuna Expressway Authority office with enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. Chief Executive Officer Rakesh Kumar Singh hoisted the national flag and administered an oath to the officers and employees present, pledging their commitment to uphold the Constitution of India.

At the beginning of the programme, students of Kendriya Vidyalaya presented patriotic songs and dance-dramas, including thematic performances such as Operation Sindoor. The cultural presentations set a patriotic atmosphere and were appreciated by all present.
Extending Republic Day greetings to officers and employees, CEO Rakesh Kumar Singh highlighted the importance of the Indian Constitution and elaborated on the duties of citizens and the state. He said that while India attained political independence in 1947, the rights and responsibilities of citizens and the government came into force on January 26, 1950, with the implementation of the Constitution.
Singh said that under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is steadily moving forward on the path of development. He added that under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh is making a significant contribution to this development journey. He encouraged the authority’s officers and employees to perform their duties with sincerity and a sense of responsibility.
Additional Chief Executive Officer Shailendra Bhatia described Republic Day as a celebration of the implementation of the Constitution and a guiding way of life. He spoke about the goal of Viksit Bharat 2047, the Jewar Airport project and the contribution of Uttar Pradesh to national development.

General Manager (Finance) A K Singh provided an overview of India’s history from the 1600s to 1947, familiarising the audience with key events leading up to the country’s independence.
In addition, Additional Chief Executive Officer Rajesh Kumar Singh, Officer on Special Duty Shailendra Kumar Singh and other speakers spoke about India’s freedom movement and the events leading up to the drafting of the Constitution under the leadership of B R Ambedkar.
The entire programme was conducted smoothly under the supervision of Officer on Special Duty Mehram Singh.
On the occasion, the Chief Executive Officer, Additional Chief Executive Officers Shailendra Bhatia and Rajesh Kumar Singh, Officer on Special Duty Shailendra Kumar Singh, General Manager (Finance), General Manager (Project), along with other senior officers and employees, were present in large numbers.

At the conclusion of the programme, the Chief Executive Officer and senior officials distributed prizes to the children for their performances. Sweets were also distributed among all those present, marking the celebratory spirit of the occasion.
