February 6, 2026: The Vishwa Brahmin Welfare Council held an important national-level organizational meeting at 6, Tughlaq Lane, the residence of Rajya Sabha MP and former Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma. The meeting was chaired by National President Kalraj Mishra and attended by senior office bearers and representatives from various states. The session focused on strengthening the organization’s national structure, expanding its presence across regions, and accelerating efforts to build a strong grassroots network.

During the meeting, several key appointments were announced to reinforce the council’s leadership and organizational framework in different states and functional wings. Narmada Shankar Bhargava was appointed as the State President for Madhya Pradesh, while Vinod Pandey, a former Member of the Legislative Council, was assigned the responsibility of State President for Uttar Pradesh. These appointments are part of the council’s broader effort to strengthen leadership at the state level and improve coordination between national and regional units.

Former Madhya Pradesh minister Anoop Mishra was appointed as the in-charge for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, entrusting him with overseeing organizational activities and expansion efforts in both states. National General Secretary Suresh Mishra was assigned additional responsibility as the in-charge for Gujarat and Rajasthan, reflecting the council’s strategy to expand its presence and strengthen operations in western India.

The council also announced key appointments in its specialized wings to ensure focused engagement with different professional and social groups. Legislative Council Member Chandra Sharma was appointed as the National Coordinator of the Teachers’ Cell, with the responsibility of connecting educators across the country with the organization and promoting their participation in its initiatives. Veeresh Tiwari was appointed as the President of the Economic Cell, where he will oversee efforts related to financial planning, economic initiatives, and resource development for the organization.

Pandit Shivang Pandey, who currently serves as the National President of the Youth Wing, was requested to appoint and expand the youth leadership team across the country. This move aims to strengthen youth participation and ensure the organization’s long-term growth by engaging younger members in leadership and social initiatives.

In his address during the meeting, Satish Sharma emphasized that organizational development remains the council’s highest priority. He announced the observance of “Sangathan Parv” (Organization Festival) until April 15, during which focused efforts will be made to expand the council’s structure and recruit new members. He also outlined a plan to divide Uttar Pradesh into six organizational regions, with the goal of establishing strong and effective leadership structures in each region to improve coordination and operational efficiency.

Additional leadership appointments were also announced for Delhi. Dr. Vivek was appointed as the Delhi in-charge, while Madhav Sharma was named co-in-charge for the region. These appointments are intended to strengthen the council’s presence in the national capital and improve coordination with other state units.

The meeting witnessed the participation of several senior leaders and office bearers, including National Working President Satish Sharma, National Vice President Anoop Mishra, National General Secretary Suresh Mishra, MLC Chandra Sharma, Veeresh Tiwari, Shivang Pandey, Office In-Charge Mukesh Sharma, Delhi Youth President Harish Sharma, National Minister Manoj Shastri, National Minister Amit Mishra, National Publicity Head Arvind Bhardwaj, National Media In-Charge Mukul Bajpai, Delhi State In-Charge Dr. Vivek, Treasurer Sharad Sharma, National Organization Minister Durga Prasad Tiwari, National Vice President Madhav Sharma, National Minister Kuldeep Awasthi from Lucknow, and Rajesh Pandey from Kannauj, along with several other office bearers and representatives.

Participants discussed strategies to strengthen the council’s organizational reach at every level, with a particular focus on expanding its presence at the village level. Leaders emphasized the importance of creating a structured and inclusive organizational framework capable of addressing social issues, promoting community welfare, and increasing engagement among members.

Officials stated that the newly announced appointments and structural changes are aimed at enhancing coordination between national and state units while ensuring efficient implementation of programs and initiatives. The council leadership reiterated its commitment to expanding its organizational network nationwide and accelerating activities focused on social welfare, community development, and institutional strengthening.

The meeting concluded with a unanimous decision to intensify efforts to build a robust organizational structure across the country, ensuring that the council’s initiatives reach grassroots communities and contribute effectively to social and organizational development.
