The suspicious death case of Deepika Nagar in Greater Noida has taken a new turn after a neighboring eyewitness shared crucial details about the night of the incident. Gulzar Chaudhary, who lives nearby, claimed that he rushed outside after hearing a loud crashing sound and found Deepika lying on the ground, while her husband Hritik was seen running downstairs shortly afterward.
The case has already drawn attention following revelations in the postmortem report and allegations raised by family members. Investigators are now examining eyewitness testimonies along with forensic findings to determine the exact circumstances surrounding Deepika’s death.
Neighbor Reached Spot After Hearing Loud Noise
According to Gulzar Chaudhary, the incident occurred around 12:30 am when he was inside his house. He suddenly heard a loud sound resembling a heavy object falling outside. Alarmed by the noise, he immediately stepped out and saw a woman lying near the roadside.
Upon approaching closer, he realized the injured woman was Deepika Nagar, wife of Hritik, who lived nearby. Gulzar stated that Deepika had fallen onto an iron mesh structure and her face was towards the ground. Seeing her condition, efforts were immediately made to arrange medical assistance.
He further claimed that moments later, Hritik was seen rushing downstairs from the upper floor. According to the witness, Hritik asked for help in placing Deepika inside a vehicle so she could be taken to the hospital. She was first admitted locally and later referred to Sharda Hospital due to her critical condition.
Witness Claims Only Three People Were Inside the House
Gulzar Chaudhary also stated that there was no outsider present inside the house at the time of the incident. According to his account, only Hritik, his sister, and his father were present in the house when the incident occurred.
He said the house door was opened by Hritik’s sister, who reportedly screamed after seeing Deepika’s condition. A few moments later, Hritik’s father also came outside. Gulzar claimed that after the incident he personally went upstairs to check the situation and found no one else inside the house.
