The monthly organisational meeting of the Samajwadi Party Noida city unit was held on Sunday at a banquet hall in Sector-22. The meeting was chaired by city president Ashray Gupta. SIR in-charge for Noida Assembly Ramesh Prajapati and Trade Cell in-charge Akshay Jain attended as chief guests.
The primary focus of the meeting was the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign in Uttar Pradesh. Party leaders and workers discussed the implementation process, challenges faced by citizens, lack of transparency in certain areas, and the broader social and democratic implications of the campaign.
Concerns Raised Over SIR Implementation
Speakers highlighted that many citizens are facing difficulties in getting their names added or corrected in the electoral rolls. Issues related to lack of awareness, procedural complexity, and technical hurdles were discussed in detail.
Ramesh Prajapati stated that the Samajwadi Party remains committed to safeguarding public interest and democratic rights. He emphasized that no eligible voter should be excluded from the electoral roll and urged party workers to actively assist citizens and communicate their concerns to the authorities.
Call for Cooperation and Grassroots Awareness
Trade Cell in-charge Akshay Jain urged party workers and members of the business community to cooperate with the Election Commission’s SIR drive. He stressed the importance of ensuring that employees and families are informed and encouraged to verify their voter details.
City president Ashray Gupta called upon party workers to take an active role in voter enrollment drives. He urged them to conduct door-to-door outreach in their respective areas to ensure maximum inclusion of eligible voters in the electoral rolls.
Strengthening Democratic Processes
State secretary Sunil Chaudhary and Bharat Pradhan also addressed the meeting, emphasizing that a transparent and accurate voter list is essential for strengthening democracy. They called upon party members to remain vigilant and proactive.
State secretary Jaikaran Chaudhary highlighted the importance of discipline and organisational unity. He stated that party strength lies in the dedication and discipline of its cadre.
The proceedings of the meeting were conducted by Assembly president Bablu Chauhan.

Several senior leaders and party workers, including state secretaries, local office-bearers and grassroots workers, were present at the meeting. They reaffirmed their commitment to organisational strengthening and effective public engagement.
The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to intensify voter awareness efforts and strengthen the party’s organisational framework in Noida.
