The District Magistrate chaired a high-level review meeting at the Collectorate auditorium to assess preparations for the upcoming inauguration of the Noida International Airport at Jewar. The meeting was attended by liaison officers, nodal officers, in-charge officials, and district-level officers from various departments.
Detailed Review of Preparations
During the meeting, all arrangements related to the inauguration event were reviewed in detail. Department-wise responsibilities were assigned, and officials were given clear instructions to complete preparations in a time-bound and well-coordinated manner.
The District Magistrate emphasized that all departments must work in close coordination and discharge their responsibilities with accountability. It was directed that every arrangement related to the event should be completed within the stipulated timeline, without any negligence or delay.
Focus on Security and Traffic Management
Special attention was given to security arrangements, traffic management, and parking facilities. Officials were instructed to ensure smooth movement of vehicles and prevent congestion on major routes leading to the venue.
The District Magistrate also directed that effective arrangements be made for the immediate removal of any stalled or damaged vehicles to avoid disruptions in traffic flow during the event.
Infrastructure and Basic Facilities
The review included arrangements for medical services, fire safety, electricity supply, cleanliness, drinking water, barricading, signage, and public announcement systems. Instructions were issued to ensure that all facilities are properly installed and operational well before the event.
Officials were also directed to ensure adequate lighting, proper sanitation, and availability of drinking water at the event venue, parking areas, and surrounding locations.
CCTV Monitoring and Control Room Operations
The District Magistrate stressed the importance of surveillance and monitoring. Departments were instructed to install sufficient CCTV cameras at the event venue, parking areas, and key routes.
A control room will be set up for real-time monitoring to ensure safety and quick response in case of any emergency. Officials were asked to maintain continuous vigilance and ensure smooth coordination among departments.
Event Venue and Route Preparedness
All arrangements at the event venue, helipad, parking areas, and arrival and departure routes are to be completed in advance. The District Magistrate emphasized that there should be no inconvenience to visitors or participants during the event.
Given the expected presence of national and international media, public representatives, entrepreneurs, senior officials, dignitaries, and a large number of citizens, the administration has been directed to ensure flawless execution of all arrangements.
Publicity and Coordination
Officials were also instructed to ensure wide publicity of the event so that maximum public participation can be achieved. The inauguration of the airport is considered a significant milestone, and efforts will be made to highlight its importance to the public.
Continuous monitoring of all arrangements has been mandated. Officials have been directed to promptly resolve any issues that may arise to ensure the successful and smooth conduct of the event.

The meeting was attended by senior officials including ACO Greater Noida Vandana Tripathi, ACO Yamuna Authority Rajesh Kumar, nodal officer of Noida International Airport Shailendra Bhatia, Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) Atul Kumar, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Manglesh Dubey, Additional District Magistrate (Land Acquisition) Bacchu Singh, Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) Priyanka, along with other officials from the district administration, development authorities, and police department.
The District Magistrate reiterated that all departments must ensure seamless coordination and strict adherence to timelines. With comprehensive planning, continuous monitoring, and coordinated execution, the administration aims to conduct the inauguration of the Noida International Airport in a smooth, secure, and well-organized manner.
