The programme was held at the Kavya Bhavan auditorium under the chairmanship of senior litterateur and Sanskar Bharati President Jaiprakash Rawat.
The event witnessed the presence of Kiran Pal Singh, National Senior Vice President of Bharatiya Kisan Union (Bhanu), as the chief guest, while senior litterateur from Meerut, Sudha Sharma Arya, attended as the special guest. The programme was conducted in an engaging and poetic style by poet and writer Sahitya Chanchal ‘Sadhak’, who has been honoured by the Government of India for his literary contributions.
The poetry evening began with a musical invocation dedicated to Maa Sharada and Lord Ganesha, setting a cultural and traditional tone for the programme. As part of the event, poet and writer Sumit Agrawal from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, and poetess Kiran Singh from Ayodhya were formally honoured with the “Shabdawali Gaurav Samman” for their original and meaningful literary work. The honour included a memento, certificate, ceremonial stole and floral garlands, presented in a dignified manner before the audience.

The poetry session featured recitations by over a dozen poets, making the evening rich and diverse in literary expression. The audience witnessed a harmonious blend of songs, ghazals and poems, reflecting multiple emotions and literary styles. The recitations were based on various literary themes and rasas, during which the listeners were seen enjoying light-hearted and simple compositions at some moments, while at other times engaging deeply with the meaning of pure literary poetry.
