In celebration of the New Year and since the first Sunday fell on January 4 this year, the monthly Havan was conducted at Noida Gaushala, Sector 94, starting at 9:00 AM. The event witnessed the participation of devoted cow lovers and prominent community members, marking the ritual with a sense of devotion and festivity.
Participation of Community Organizations
Unlike regular monthly Havans, this occasion saw active participation from the executive members of the Noida Punjabi Society and Bharat Vikas Parishad Swarnim Branch. Around 60 families attended as Yajmans (participants), making the ceremony larger and more grandiose than usual.
Rituals and Ceremony
The Havan was conducted with traditional rituals, invoking blessings and prosperity for the New Year. Following the Havan, a ceremonial Pushp Varsha (flower shower) was performed, symbolising good wishes and positive energy for all attendees.
Distribution of Prasad and Community Fellowship
After the rituals, the Bhandaara Prasad was distributed among all participants, reinforcing the spirit of community service and devotion. The event also served as a platform for community bonding and collective celebration of cultural and spiritual traditions.
