Members approve accounts, election officers appointed, membership and nomination fees revised
Noida: The Noida Entrepreneurs Association (NEA), established in 1978, held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on December 13, 2025, at the NEA Auditorium, Noida. The meeting witnessed the participation of a large number of association members, reflecting active engagement from the city’s industrial and entrepreneurial community.

During the meeting, NEA General Secretary V.K. Seth presented the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting before the house. Following this, Treasurer Sharad Chandra Jain presented the detailed financial statement and accounts for the financial year 2024–2025. After due discussion, the accounts were unanimously approved by the members present.
Addressing the gathering, NEA President Vipin Kumar Malhan thanked all the entrepreneurs and members for their continued support and participation. He emphasized that the association, which has been serving entrepreneurs since 1978, should move forward with fresh ideas and collective efforts. He urged more members to actively participate in the functioning of the association and contribute to its growth with innovative thinking and a forward-looking approach.

Vipin Kumar Malhan highlighted that NEA elections have always been conducted in a timely and transparent manner and expressed the association’s commitment to maintaining the same tradition. He announced that the upcoming elections would also be held as scheduled and invited interested members to submit their names for the role of Election Officer. Subsequently, he proposed the names of Yogesh Anand, Rakesh Katyal, Pradeep Mehta, and Subhash Singhal as Election Officers. The proposal was placed before the house and was unanimously approved.
Following their appointment, the newly selected Election Officers held internal deliberations and jointly announced January 10, 2026, as the date for the NEA elections. The election date was presented to the members and received unanimous approval from the house.
During the AGM, the President also placed several proposals related to revision of fees before the members. It was proposed that the annual membership fee be increased from ₹3,000 to ₹4,000, with effect from April 1, 2026, for the 2026–27 session. Additionally, the nomination fee for contesting elections for office-bearer posts was proposed to be increased from ₹2,100 to ₹11,000. For Executive Committee (EC) Member posts, the nomination fee was proposed to be revised from ₹1,100 to ₹5,000. It was further proposed that the cost of the nomination form be increased from ₹100 to ₹200. All these proposals were discussed and unanimously approved by the members present at the meeting.
The AGM also saw former NEA President Yogesh Anand, Rakesh Katyal, former General Secretary Pradeep Mehta, and several other entrepreneurs addressing the house. They appreciated the efforts and initiatives undertaken by Vipin Kumar Malhan and his entire team, acknowledging their work towards strengthening the association and addressing issues concerning the industrial community.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks and reaffirmation of NEA’s commitment to safeguarding the interests of entrepreneurs and promoting industrial development in Noida. All office bearers, Executive Committee members, and a large number of association members were present during the AGM.
