To ensure smooth, congestion-free roads and accessible public spaces for citizens, NOIDA Authority has initiated a comprehensive encroachment removal drive. Under this campaign, unauthorized and illegal vendors, kiosks, and other encroachments on roads and public spaces will be removed regularly.
As part of this initiative, each work circle has been equipped with one JCB and one dumper, ensuring daily removal of encroachments and discouraging unauthorized commercial activities. The primary goal of this drive is not only to clear encroachments but also to make public roads and sidewalks safer, accessible, and congestion-free for residents.
On February 09, 2026, encroachment removal teams from work circles 1 to 10 conducted operations at several key locations. These included Zonal Road No. 3, DSC Road near New Ashok Nagar, MP-2 Road, Sector-44, Sector-51, Sectors-63 & 65, Sectors-66, 70, 71, 35 & 34, Hauzri Complex, Phase-2, Village Gejha Tilpta Bad, Sector-93A, DSC Road under Bhangel Elevated Road, Sectors-124 & 126, Sector-150, and Sectors-155-156.
The Authority receives frequent complaints from various sources, including citizens, RWAs, FONRWA, industrial organizations, and other stakeholders regarding unauthorized vendors. To address these issues effectively and maintain orderly public infrastructure, this initiative has been launched. Daily encroachment removal will ensure roads and public spaces remain accessible, safe, and free from congestion.
This measure will reduce traffic congestion caused by unauthorized businesses and ensure convenience and safety for citizens, shopkeepers, and industrial establishments. Teams conducting the operations have been instructed to perform their duties efficiently, in a coordinated and transparent manner.
The regular encroachment removal initiative by NOIDA Authority benefits both residents and the environment. It improves urban aesthetics, mobility, and public health. Citizens are encouraged to report any unauthorized activities to the Authority to enable prompt and effective action.
