Noida, January 30, 2026:
The Noida administration has issued comprehensive directives to enhance cleanliness and sanitation across the city. Officials have emphasized improving weekly markets, drains, vendor zones, and door-to-door waste disposal to maintain high standards of hygiene.

Weekly Market Cleaning and Door-to-Door Waste Disposal
Weekly markets in sectors and villages will be cleaned on the same day during the night. Waste generated during cleaning will be collected and transported via door-to-door agency vehicles. The administration aims to reduce litter in market areas and ensure timely waste disposal.
Drain Cleaning and Silt Disposal
Supervisors have been instructed to ensure that silt collected from daily drain cleaning by sanitation workers is transported the same day to the dumping ground in Sector-145. This measure will prevent the accumulation of waste and blockages in drains.
Prompt Resolution of Complaints

Complaints received daily through social media platforms such as Twitter, A-Pag, IGRS, and WhatsApp will be resolved promptly. The administration has instructed officials to monitor all complaints and ensure timely action.
Dustbin Arrangement in Markets and Vendor Zones
All shopkeepers and vendors in markets and vendor zones have been instructed and sensitized to maintain two dustbins. Vendors failing to use green/blue dustbins will be surveyed and penalized. This initiative aims to maintain public health and cleanliness.
Elimination of GVP Points and Waste Site Improvement
Instructions have been issued to eliminate GVP points in Noida. These sites will be identified, regularly inspected, and awareness campaigns will be conducted to convert them into proper waste disposal areas.
Collaboration of Civil and Public Health Departments

The Civil Department has been directed to coordinate with the Public Health Department for sanitation activities. Supervisors whose areas are found dirty will face strict action.
Cleanliness Survey and Motivation
Special Officer (Public Health) Kranti Shekhar Singh has motivated all officials and staff to maintain cleanliness in Noida and achieve the top ranking in the cleanliness survey. Civil and Public Health Departments have been instructed to sustain effective sanitation systems across the city.
This initiative is seen as a significant step toward improving hygiene standards and raising public awareness about cleanliness in Noida.
