The final phase of the Sheet-Kavach campaign, organized by Noida-based social organization Navratna Foundations, was successfully completed across several educational institutions and labor-intensive areas. The initiative aimed to protect economically weaker children and working-class individuals from harsh winter conditions by providing essential winter clothing.
Distribution programs were conducted at multiple locations including a government girls’ inter college in Ghaziabad, a primary school in Kanshi Ram Colony, Sector-45 Noida, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Sanskar Kendra in Sector-17 JJ Colony, and Sector-8 Bans Balli Market JJ Colony. These locations were selected to ensure maximum outreach to vulnerable groups during peak winter.
During the final phase, more than 600 students received sweaters, while 120 blankets were distributed among security guards and daily wage workers employed in various sectors. The initiative offered immediate protection against cold weather and brought visible relief and comfort to beneficiaries.
According to Navratna Foundations, the Sheet-Kavach campaign benefited nearly 1,200 economically disadvantaged children during the winter season this year. The organization emphasized that safeguarding children from cold-related health risks plays a crucial role in ensuring regular school attendance and overall well-being.
The campaign witnessed active participation from several social groups, including Noida Punjabi Samaj, Yash Krishna Memorial Charitable Trust, Ladies Club of Club-26, and local community coordinators. Volunteers from these groups supported identification of beneficiaries, coordination at distribution sites, and smooth execution of the program.
Representatives of Navratna Foundations stated that the objective of the Sheet-Kavach campaign extends beyond material distribution. It seeks to promote social responsibility, compassion, and collective action toward marginalized communities. Providing warmth to children and relief to workers was seen as a step toward inclusive social support during extreme weather conditions.
The concluding phase of the campaign was attended by the foundation’s leadership, office coordinators, and volunteers, whose coordinated efforts ensured timely and organized completion of the initiative. The team worked collectively to manage logistics and ensure dignified distribution.
Navratna Foundations expressed gratitude to all donors, partner organizations, and volunteers whose support made the campaign possible. The organization highlighted that community participation remains central to the success of such humanitarian efforts.
With the completion of the Sheet-Kavach campaign, Navratna Foundations reiterated its commitment to continue initiatives related to education, health, and social welfare. The campaign not only provided winter relief but also strengthened the spirit of empathy and service within the community.
