Navjeevan Inter College in Bhangel, Noida, hosted an awareness campaign on clean environment and healthy living under the guidance of the District Science Club, Gautam Buddh Nagar. The initiative aimed to educate students about environmental conservation and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
During the programme, students were reminded that the environment forms the foundation of life—“No environment, no life.” Clean and safe surroundings are essential for maintaining a healthy life. Students presented models based on their understanding and experiences, demonstrating ways to keep their surroundings clean and safe.
A total of 150 students participated enthusiastically. Based on outstanding presentations, the team of Ravya and Aji was awarded first prize, Tavishi and Sakshi’s team received second prize, and Anshika and Shilpi’s team secured third prize. All participants were also awarded notebooks, pens, and certificates as encouragement.
The programme framework was prepared by Dr. Archana Shiromani, coordinator of the District Science Club. Former principal Mohkam Singh Chauhan attended as the chief guest, while the programme was presided over by current principal Pushpendra Singh. The judging committee included Arvind Kushwaha (Galgotia Engineering College) and Amrita.
The stage programme was conducted by Rajesh Kumar and Sachin. Other faculty members and a large number of students also attended the event. The campaign provided students an opportunity to understand the importance of environmental protection and a healthy lifestyle.
Such awareness initiatives not only foster scientific and social thinking among students but also instill a sense of responsibility and discipline. The efforts of the District Science Club, Gautam Buddh Nagar, serve as an inspiring example of education combined with social responsibility.
