New Delhi, March 29, 2026 | Prime Minister Narendra Modi will share his thoughts with people across India and abroad today through the 132nd episode of his monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat. The programme is scheduled to be broadcast at 11:00 AM on the national broadcaster Akashvani.

Mann Ki Baat, which has become a widely followed platform for direct communication between the Prime Minister and citizens, continues to highlight key social issues, grassroots innovations, inspiring stories, and government initiatives. The programme reaches millions of listeners not only in India but also among the global Indian diaspora, reflecting its growing influence as a medium of public engagement.

The 132nd episode will be broadcast across the entire network of Akashvani, ensuring accessibility to audiences in both urban and rural regions. In addition, the programme will be aired simultaneously on Doordarshan, expanding its reach through television platforms.

Listeners and viewers will also have multiple digital options to access the broadcast. The programme will be available on the official AIR News website and the Newsonair mobile application, allowing users to tune in via smartphones and other digital devices. This multi-platform approach ensures that audiences can engage with the programme conveniently, regardless of their location.

This digital streaming initiative reflects the government’s efforts to leverage online platforms to reach younger audiences and global viewers.

In keeping with its inclusive approach, Akashvani will also broadcast the programme in various regional languages immediately after the original Hindi transmission. This ensures that the message reaches a linguistically diverse audience across the country, reinforcing the programme’s accessibility and nationwide appeal.

Since its inception, Mann Ki Baat has served as a unique platform for sharing ideas, encouraging citizen participation, and promoting positive stories from across the nation. Each episode typically features themes related to social change, innovation, environmental awareness, cultural heritage, and community-driven initiatives.

Over the years, the programme has played a significant role in amplifying voices from different sections of society, including students, farmers, entrepreneurs, and social workers. It has also been instrumental in highlighting success stories from remote and underrepresented regions, thereby fostering a sense of collective progress and national unity.

The 132nd episode is expected to continue this tradition, with the Prime Minister likely to address contemporary issues and acknowledge contributions made by citizens in various fields. As with previous editions, the programme is anticipated to draw widespread attention from listeners across the country and beyond.

With its consistent monthly schedule and diverse content, Mann Ki Baat remains a key communication initiative, bridging the gap between the government and the public. Today’s broadcast is set to further strengthen this connection, offering insights, inspiration, and a platform for shared national dialogue.
