The All India Management Association (AIMA) has opened registrations for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) in December 2024. Eligible candidates who wish to appear for the exam can visit the official AIMA website for detailed information. The last date to register for the first Computer Based Test (CBT 1) is November 30, 2024, with admit cards being available from December 3, 2024. The CBT 1 exam is scheduled for December 7, 2024.
The registration deadline for the second Computer Based Test (CBT 2) is December 15, 2024, and the admit cards will be issued on December 18, 2024. The CBT 2 exam will take place on December 22, 2024.
For candidates opting for the Paper Based Test (PBT), the last date for registration is December 7, 2024, with admit cards being made available on December 10, 2024. The PBT will be conducted on December 14, 2024.
Results for the MAT December 2024 session are expected to be announced on the official MAT website in the first week of January 2025. Candidates can download their MAT scorecards from the applicant dashboard at https://mat.aima.in.
Graduates from any discipline and students in the final year of their undergraduate programs are eligible to apply for MAT.

Computer Based Test 1 + Computer Based Test 2 (CBT 1 + CBT 2)
Candidates opting for an additional mode (PBT+CBT or CBT 1 + CBT 2) will be required to pay an extra fee of Rs 1,500 in addition to the Rs 2,100 application fee for PBT or CBT. The application fee for PBT+CBT or CBT+CBT is Rs 3,600.
MAT is recognized as a gateway to over 20,000 management seats in more than 600 business schools across India. Prestigious institutions that accept MAT scores include the School of Business and Management – Christ University (Bengaluru), Delhi School of Business (VIPS-TC) in New Delhi, BIMTECH (Noida), XIME (Kochi), Calcutta Business School (Kolkata), Dr. D. Y. Patil B School (Pune), and NERIM Group of Institutions (Guwahati), among others. Some institutes may also accept the MAT score for admission to postgraduate degree or diploma programs, subject to specific cut-off marks and other admission criteria.
