A mega health camp was organized today at Parasnath Digambar Jain Temple, Sector-50, by Vishva Jain Sangathan Noida in collaboration with Felix Hospital, ITS College Greater Noida, and Center for Sight, Noida. The camp witnessed active participation from local residents and members of the Jain community, reflecting a strong commitment toward community healthcare and social service.
The mega health camp was inaugurated by Dr. D.K. Gupta, Managing Director of Felix Hospital, and Sanjay Jain, National President of Vishva Jain Sangathan. The inauguration ceremony marked the formal commencement of the day-long free medical initiative aimed at providing accessible healthcare services to the public.
Over 300 Beneficiaries Received Free Medical Check-Ups
President of Vishva Jain Sangathan Noida, K.K. Jain, informed that more than 300 people availed themselves of the free medical check-up services during the camp. The initiative included comprehensive general health examinations and blood tests.
Specialized eye examinations were conducted using computerized refractometer machines for objective refraction. Subjective refraction assessments were carried out with the help of the Snellen chart to evaluate visual acuity. Screening for cataract detection was also undertaken as part of the ophthalmology services.
In addition to eye and general health check-ups, dental examinations were conducted, including dental screening and professional cleaning procedures. The camp ensured that individuals received proper consultation and preliminary diagnosis under expert supervision.
Appreciation for Ongoing Service Activities
General Secretary Dinesh Jain stated that the public appreciated the service-oriented initiatives undertaken by the organization. He emphasized that Vishva Jain Sangathan Noida remains committed to social welfare activities and will continue to organize similar health camps in the future to benefit the larger community.
The event saw the presence of key office-bearers and members of the organization. Among those present were National President Sanjay Jain, K.K. Jain, General Secretary Dinesh Jain, Dinesh Jain (Patron, Jain Temple Sector-50), President Pradeep Jain, Rahul Jain, Pradeep Jain, Meenu Jain, Gaurav Jain, H.K. Jain, and Anshul Jain. A large number of women and men from the community also underwent medical examinations during the camp.
The initiative highlighted the collective effort of Vishva Jain Sangathan Noida in promoting preventive healthcare and raising awareness about regular medical check-ups.
