Ballari, 08 September (H.S): Dr Yashvanth Bhupal, Vice-Chancellor of the Kishkinda University of Ballari has informed that Dr S.A. Patil has been appointed as the first Registrar of the Kishkinda University, Dr S.B. Kamashetti as the Registrar (Evaluation), and Dr U. Eranna as the new Dean of Engineering on Friday.
Dr Yashvanth Bhupal explained that Dr S.A. Patil has served as a Registrar of Karnataka University, Dharwad, Registrar and Vice-Chancellor-in-Charge of Sri Vijayanagara Krishnadevaraya University, Ballari, Member of Karnataka Science and Technology Academy, Bangalore, Member of Food Corporation of India, NAAC Peer Team Member Co-ordinator.
He has served 43 years in higher education and various administrative positions. He has published about 108 research articles in international journals with 34 H-Index, 70-I10 Index, and with a total of 4714 citations and guided 18 research scholars. He has visited France, Austria, Hungary, Malaysia, Singapore, and other countries and worked hard the uplift higher education at various levels, the VC informed.
Dr S.B. Kamashetti has served as the Dean and Head of the Department of Management, Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women’s University, Vice Chancellor in Charge, Syndicate Member, Finance Officer, Academic Council Member, IQAC, CDC, DPAR Director, K-SET Examination Nodal Officer, etc. in higher education for an extended period of 36 years and has vast experience in various administrative positions. He has published 47 research articles in national and international journals and has guided 16 research scholars, he told.
He also said that the newly appointed Dean of Engineering at Kishkinda University Dr U. Eranna is a distinguished scholar and educator with a solid commitment to fostering academic excellence and innovation. He has experience in various academic positions as a Professor, Principal, and Dean at Ballari Institute of Technology & Management.
