The Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), Centre for Coaching and Career Planning at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), has announced the commencement of online applications for free coaching with hostel accommodation for the preparation of the UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary-cum-Main) examination 2024.
Prospective candidates interested in availing of this opportunity can register for the free UPSC coaching program by visiting the official website — jmicoe.in.
This year, RCA has made available 100 seats through an entrance test for the coaching program. Hostel accommodation is mandatory for all admitted students and will be provided by the academy. In the event of a shortage of hostel seats, allocation will be strictly based on merit determined by the entrance test. RCA reserves the right to adjust the intake if sufficient deserving candidates are not available.
Students enrolled in the program will be required to pay a monthly hostel maintenance charge of Rs 1000, payable six months in advance (i.e., Rs 6000 initially), followed by subsequent payments two months in advance. Female students will deposit their charges at the Girl Hostel/Provost Office.
Candidates from Minority, SC, ST, and women communities are eligible to apply for this program. The university will conduct UPSC entrance examinations at ten centers across India, including Delhi, Srinagar, Jammu, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Mumbai, Patna, Lucknow, Bengaluru, and Malappuram.
Highlighting the academy’s previous successes, the university mentioned that Shruti Sharma secured All India Rank 1 in the Civil Services Examination 2021. Since its inception, RCA has facilitated over 600 selections in Civil Services and other Central and State Services.
