Nagpur, 25 February : Income tax official conducted raid on residence of Yashvant Jadhav in Byculla area of Mumbai, on Friday morning. Jadhav is chief of Standing Committee of Mumbai Municipal Corporation and a Shiv Sena leader.
Following raid at Jadhav’s residence Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednerak reached his residence area. She said that she has come to appeal to the Shiv Sena workers to maintain peace.
Jadhav is connected to shares dealiings. The raid is ststed to be connected to his business in shares. The Opposition has alleged the raid as political vendetta, monitored by the BJP led Central Government. The details of findings of the Income Tax officials have not yet been relvealed.
