The eighth meeting of the Supreme Council of Iran-Turkey Cooperation took place in Ankara, featuring the presence of both nations’ presidents.
Building upon the previous year’s meeting during President Recep Erdogan’s visit to Tehran, Iran and Turkey have solidified their partnership by signing 10 cooperation agreements. These agreements aim to expand economic cooperation and enhance regional interactions across various sectors, including railways, energy, and joint communications.
Further, following the 8th Meeting of the Türkiye-Iran High-Level Cooperation Council and the signing of these significant agreements at the Presidential Complex, the two leaders conducted a joint press conference.
During the conference, President Erdogan emphasized the importance of deepening relations with Iran, highlighting their status as neighbors and their commitment to mutual trust and shared interests.
