In a significant diplomatic development, President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic embarked on a state visit to India from January 25th to 26th, 2024. The visit holds special importance as President Macron has been chosen as Chief Guest for India’s 75th Republic Day celebrations on January 26th. This visit not only aims at strengthening bilateral ties but also showcasing the rich culture and heritage
According to an official itinerary of their program. President Macron will land at Jaipur Airport at 1430 hrs. He will get a warm welcome in the “Pink City” of Jaipur.
Then President Macron’s first destination will be the majestic Amber Fort at 1515 hrs. This historical treasure, known for its intricate architecture and grandeur, offers a glimpse into India’s royal legacy.
After that President Macron will visit Jantar Mantar at 1730 hrs, an ancient astronomical observatory showcasing India’s contributions to science and technology.
At 1800 hrs, President Macron will witness the Sobha Yatra at Jantar Mantar, celebrating India’s diverse culture, art, and traditions.
Continuing the exploration of Jaipur, President Macron will visit the iconic Hawa Mahal at 1815 hrs. Also known as the ‘Palace of Winds,’ .
The highlight of the evening will be President Macron’s meeting with Prime Minister at 1915 hrs, which will take place at the prestigious Hotel Taj Rambagh Palace.
After a day filled with cultural experiences and meaningful interactions in Jaipur, President Macron will depart for Delhi at 2050 hrs, and will be landing at AFS Palam in Delhi at 2140 hrs.
On 26th January he will witness the grand Republic Day celebrations as a Chief Guest of the event in New Delhi.
