In Raipur, Chhattisgarh, the body of Dinesh Miraniya was received by his family on what was his wedding anniversary. Accompanied by his wife and two children, Dinesh was shot dead by terrorists. Deputy CM Arun Sao joined the family, offering condolences during the final rites.

Karnataka’s Shivamogga mourned Manjunath Rao, while protests erupted statewide demanding justice and stricter counter-terrorism efforts. In Bengaluru, tributes poured in for techie Bharat Bhushan, killed while vacationing with his wife and young son. Reports said the attackers had asked his name before killing him.
