New Delhi, September 9 (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in the first session on One Earth during the G20 Summit at Bharat Mandapam on Saturday that we have to move forward with a human-centric approach. He called for reducing the global trust deficit and enhancing the environment of trust.

The Prime Minister welcomed all the heads of state in his inaugural address at the G20 Summit at the Bharat Mandapam. With this, the two-day conference began. While addressing the G-20 meeting, Modi said the name of the country was ‘India’ and said, ‘As the President of the G20, India heartily welcomes all of you.’

Expressing grief over the earthquake in the African country, Modi said that before starting the formal proceedings of the conference, I expressed my sympathies to the people affected by the earthquake in Morocco. We pray that the injured recover as soon as possible. The entire global community stands with the people of Morocco.

At the start of the G20 summit, Prime Minister Modi said that the post-Covid world is struggling with a lack of trust, and the war has deepened it. He said that if we can defeat COVID, we can also overcome the lack of trust created by war. Now is the time for us all to move together for the greater good.

He said that this time of the 21st century is an important time for showing a new direction to the whole world and giving a new direction. This is the time when age-old challenges are demanding new solutions from us. Therefore, we have to move forward by fulfilling all our responsibilities with a human-centric approach.

The Prime Minister said that the idea of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas can be a guide for the world. He said, India’s G20 presidency has become a symbol of ‘Sabka Saath’ inside and outside the country. It has become the people’s G20 in India, and more than 200 meetings were held across the country.
