The occasion was the mehndi ceremony of her younger son Anant Ambani and his fiancée Radhika Merchant, held recently. Known for her grace and philanthropy, Nita Ambani approached the photographers with folded hands, offering them prasad (offerings) and expressing heartfelt gratitude for covering the festivities with the Ambani family.
In a viral video on social media, Nita Ambani can be heard saying, “You all have been coming for several days. It’s Shiv Shakti Puja today. I’m going to send prasad for all of you.” The day also featured a Shiv Shakti puja at the Nita Ambani residence, adding spiritual significance to the celebrations.
The star-studded event drew a host of celebrities, including Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Pandey, MS Dhoni, and Sakshi Dhoni, among others. The gathering included family members from both sides, such as Shloka Mehta Ambani’s mother, Mona Mehta, and Anand Piramal’s mother, Swati Piramal, who graced the occasion with elegance.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, visibly enamored with each other, looked resplendent during their haldi ceremony. Radhika mesmerized in an ensemble designed by Anamika Khanna, featuring a lehenga choli crafted entirely from real flowers, adding a touch of natural beauty to the festivities.
The forthcoming wedding is set to be a grand affair, scheduled for July 12, followed by an Aashirvad ceremony the next day. The Ambanis plan to host a lavish reception on July 14 at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai, marking the culmination of their celebrations.
