Greater Noida Authority continued its crackdown on illegal construction in the notified area on Friday by conducting a major demolition drive in the Bisrakh flood zone. During the operation, unauthorized structures on land recorded under Khasra number 135 were demolished, freeing approximately 30,000 square meters of encroached land.
The action created visible concern among those involved in unauthorized construction within the notified area. The drive forms part of the authority’s broader efforts to curb illegal colonization and ensure planned urban development.

Chief Executive Officer NG Ravi Kumar directed the project department to continue strict enforcement against land encroachers and illegal builders. He reiterated that any construction without prior approval from the authority is illegal and will attract firm action.
Leading the anti-encroachment drive, Additional Chief Executive Officer Sumit Yadav stated that construction without permission in the notified area violates planning regulations. He emphasized that similar actions will continue wherever illegal structures are identified.
He also appealed to the public to avoid falling prey to illegal colonizers and to safeguard their hard-earned money. Residents were advised to verify land records with the authority’s land department before purchasing any property in Greater Noida.
Project Department General Manager AK Singh informed that colonizers were attempting to develop an unauthorized colony on around 30,000 square meters of land in village Bisrakh by constructing boundary walls and occupying the area illegally.
The demolition operation was carried out under the supervision of Work Circle-3 Manager Rohit Gupta, along with Assistant Manager Rajeev Kumar and their team. The drive involved two JCB machines, three dumpers, and support from the authority’s police force to ensure smooth execution.
The authority has issued a strict warning that any attempt at re-encroachment will result in legal action against the offenders.
The Greater Noida Authority reaffirmed its commitment to planned development, environmental protection, and safeguarding public land, stating that such enforcement drives will continue in the future.
