Promoting ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ Vision

Addressing the gathering, Kapil Mishra emphasised that such celebrations are aligned with the vision of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ promoted by Narendra Modi. He stated that under the leadership of Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the government is organizing events to mark the foundation days of various states in the capital.

He noted that these initiatives aim to strengthen national unity while showcasing the cultural diversity of India. By bringing together traditions from different states, such programmes foster mutual understanding and appreciation among citizens, contributing to the broader goal of building a developed and inclusive society.

Contribution of Rajasthan Community in Delhi

The celebration provided an opportunity for the community to connect with their heritage while also sharing it with a wider audience in the capital.

Focus on Youth and Cultural Awareness

The Minister underlined that one of the key objectives of the programme is to introduce younger generations to India’s diverse cultural traditions. By organizing such events, the government aims to ensure that the richness of Indian heritage is passed on to future generations.

He stated that cultural programmes like these play an important role in creating awareness and appreciation for traditional art forms, which are an integral part of the nation’s identity.

Strengthening Cultural Harmony

Kapil Mishra described the event as an important step towards promoting cultural harmony in the capital. He noted that such initiatives help bridge cultural gaps and encourage a sense of unity among people from different regions.

The event demonstrated how cultural exchange can serve as a powerful tool for social cohesion, bringing communities together through shared experiences and artistic expression.

The Rajasthan Day celebration at the Delhi Secretariat highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting India’s cultural diversity. Through performances, community participation, and government support, the event successfully showcased the richness of Rajasthan’s traditions while reinforcing the spirit of unity and inclusiveness.
