Today, the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi has released on bail Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and former Bihar Chief Minister, Lalu Yadav, along with his wife and former Bihar CM, Rabri Devi, Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, and other accused individuals in the alleged land-for-job scam case. The court granted bail to this influential political family of Bihar upon their execution of a personal bond worth ₹50,000 and scheduled the next hearing for October 16.
The Delhi court has instructed the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to provide the accused with copies of the chargesheet.
Yadav, Rabri Devi, and the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar appeared in person before Special Judge Geetanjali Goel’s court in response to the summonses.
The court issued these summonses to the Yadav family and 14 other accused individuals in connection with the alleged scam on September 22.
Among those who presented themselves before the court were RJD Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha and RJD MP Misa Bharti.
