The National Testing Agency (NTA) has initiated the registration process for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2024. Prospective candidates can now access the online application form via the official websites – exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/ and cuetug.ntaonline.in.
It’s imperative for candidates to note that only one application is permitted per candidate.
Scheduled between May 15 and 31, the CUET UG 2024 exams will culminate in the declaration of results on June 30. However, candidates should remain cognizant that the dates are subject to potential alterations contingent upon the National Election Schedule.
Commencing from today, aspiring candidates have until March 26 (11:50 pm) to complete the CUET application process. Following this deadline, a window for application form corrections will be available from March 28 to 29.
City slips will be issued starting from April 30, with admit cards slated for release in the second week of May 2024.
Noteworthy changes in the exam pattern include the adoption of a hybrid mode (Computer-Based Test (CBT) / Pen & Paper) for CUET UG 2024. The utilization of OMR sheets for subjects with higher registration percentages aims to streamline the examination process, particularly benefiting students from rural areas by minimizing travel requirements.
Furthermore, this year’s exam will be conducted in 13 languages, offering candidates increased flexibility. The test will be administered in 380 cities, including 26 cities outside India.
With 33 languages and 27 subjects on offer, candidates have the freedom to choose their desired subject/language, with a specific number of questions to be attempted per section. The duration of each test paper ranges from 45 to 60 minutes, contingent upon the subject.
Applicants for CUET UG 2024 can select up to four cities as their preferred exam centre choices, an expansion from the previous year’s limit of two choices per candidate.
