Gautam Buddh Nagar | March 22, 2026 — Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a comprehensive review of preparations for the proposed inauguration of Noida International Airport, Jewar, scheduled for March 28, 2026, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The programme will also include the inauguration of the cargo terminal and the foundation laying of the MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) facility.
Review Meeting with Public Representatives and Senior Officials
The Chief Minister visited the airport site and carried out a detailed on-ground inspection of preparations. He reviewed the Prime Minister’s proposed route and inspected key locations including the passenger terminal, cargo terminal, rally venue, parking arrangements, access routes, and helipad.
Following the inspection, a review meeting was held at the airport auditorium with public representatives and senior officials. Detailed discussions were conducted regarding event planning, security arrangements, and overall execution strategy.

Instructions for Timely and Standard-Compliant Arrangements
The Chief Minister directed all departments to ensure effective coordination and complete all assigned tasks within the stipulated timeline and as per prescribed standards. He emphasized that the programme should be conducted in a well-organised and efficient manner.
Focus on Infrastructure, Facilities, and Public Convenience
Considering the expected presence of dignitaries, media, and a large number of attendees, the Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure timely completion of:
Smooth and clean access roads
Uninterrupted power supply
Drinking water facilities
Toilets and sanitation
Security arrangements
Traffic management and transport systems
Fire safety measures
Medical services
Clear signage
Special arrangements were directed at parking sites, including mobile toilets, help desks, drinking water, and medical facilities for visitors coming from different districts.
Deployment and Crowd Management Measures
The Chief Minister directed adequate deployment of administrative staff, police personnel (male and female), and volunteers across all blocks of the event venue to ensure smooth crowd management and public assistance.
Four-Tier Security and Traffic Planning
A detailed presentation on security, parking, traffic management, and alternative routes was made during the meeting. It was informed that a four-tier security system will be implemented to ensure safety and smooth execution of the programme.
