The junior wing of Modern School, Sector-12, Noida, celebrated its annual function on Friday with great enthusiasm and festive spirit, as the campus resonated with stories, creativity, and youthful imagination. This year’s event revolved around a unique and engaging theme, “Stories and Tales Through Children’s Voices,” which highlighted the expressive abilities, innocence, and creative confidence of young students.
The programme showcased a vibrant blend of stage performances, including short plays, storytelling sessions, dance sequences, and expressive presentations by the children. Through these performances, the students beautifully conveyed everyday experiences, moral values, dreams, and emotions, captivating the audience with their natural charm and confident delivery. Parents, teachers, and guests applauded the young performers for their ability to translate imagination into meaningful expressions on stage.
The annual function was formally inaugurated by the chief guest Ankita Singh, Joint Commissioner of Customs. She was joined by distinguished guests Captain Amitabh Mathur from the Indian Air Force and Jyoti Mishra, a noted news presenter. Their presence added prestige to the event and encouraged the young participants, who performed with visible excitement and enthusiasm.
Addressing the gathering, school principal Sonia Sharma welcomed the guests and expressed gratitude for their presence. She presented the school’s annual report, highlighting academic achievements, co-curricular milestones, and the school’s continued focus on holistic development. She emphasised that storytelling and creative expression play a vital role in shaping communication skills, emotional intelligence, and confidence in young learners.
During the ceremony, Director Saurabh Jain and managers Tushar Jain and Vipul Jain honoured meritorious and talented students by presenting awards and certificates in recognition of their academic excellence and outstanding performances in various fields. The felicitation segment was met with warm applause, reflecting the school community’s encouragement of student achievement and all-round growth.
