The action was taken under the directions of CEO NG Ravi Kumar, targeting unauthorized construction and illegal plotting in the notified floodplain area of Bisrakh.
Illegal Plotting in Flood Zone Demolished
According to officials, colonizers had attempted to develop an illegal colony by constructing boundary walls and dividing land into plots within the flood-affected zone. Such activities are strictly prohibited under planning regulations due to environmental and safety concerns.
The enforcement team from Work Circle-3 carried out the demolition on Khasra numbers 333 and 334, clearing all unauthorized structures and restoring the land to its original state. The operation was led by Senior Manager Prabhat Shankar and Manager Prashant Samadhiya along with the authority’s team.
Strict Warning Against Unauthorized Construction
ACEO Sumit Yadav stated that no construction is permitted in notified areas without prior approval from the authority. He reiterated that strict legal action will be taken against those involved in illegal encroachments or unauthorized colony development.
Authorities also warned the colonizers involved that any attempt to resume illegal construction will invite stringent कार्रवाई, including further demolition and legal proceedings.
Advisory for Property Buyers
The authority has issued a public advisory urging citizens to verify land details before making any purchase in Greater Noida. Buyers have been advised to consult the authority to ensure that the property is legally approved and not part of an unauthorized colony.
Officials emphasized that investing in illegal colonies, especially in sensitive zones like floodplains, can lead to significant financial losses and legal complications.
Continued Drive Against Encroachments
The demolition in Bisrakh is part of an ongoing campaign by the authority to eliminate illegal encroachments and ensure planned urban development. Similar enforcement actions have recently been carried out in areas such as Tilpata, Roza Yakubpur, Khera Chouganpur, and Chipiyana Buzurg.
Officials stated that the authority will continue its strict monitoring and enforcement to prevent misuse of land and protect notified areas from illegal development.
